AmbiFire Fireplaces

Choose from our wood burning stoves and fireplace inserts.

Why our fireplaces

5-year warranty

In addition to the 2-year warranty, we provide a 5-year warranty covering the burn-through of the firebox.

A fireplace that will last

Our fireplaces are made of premium robust and high-quality material.

Easy to use

Unique airbox = you control the primary, secondary and tertiary air with a single lever.

Stove or insert?

Wood burning stove

  • Wood burning stoves stand freely and only need to be connected to the flue.
  • They have only small space requirements.
  • Their calorific value is high and can be increased by means of an exchanger that distributes heat to the rooms.

Fireplace insert

Inserts combine the aesthetics of an open fireplace and the effectiveness of wood burning stoves.

However, the insert must be enclosed – by masonry or modern materials with excellent insulating properties (e.g. calcium silicate boards).

How often will you use it?

Continuous heating: choose a heavy stove with a large firebox and heat storage elements (e.g. concrete panels or tile enclosures).

Irregular heating (e.g. weekend cottages, insulated houses): choose a stove or an insert with less output and minimal or no enclosure.

What chimney is needed?

  • Your chimney must be high enough.
  • The chimney must have a sufficiently large vent = exhaust gas convey area. For example, if you have a 150 mm diameter stove pipe, you should not have a smaller chimney pipe diameter.
  • The chimney can be lined. It is necessary that there is a smooth surface without bricks or other obstacles inside the chimney.

What needs to be prepared in the house?

It is necessary to prepare for the installation of the fireplace structurally:

  • Calculate the load-bearing capacity of the floor in the place where the fireplace will be placed.
  • Consider an external air supply (as opposed to a room supply) and get the according number of pipes.
  • The fireplace should be located near the chimney, as this will simplify its installation.
  • Ideally, you should have a reinforced slab in places where the chimney and the fireplace will be.
